What you are saying has already been tried once by the Rs on B. Clinton . History will repeat itself if you don’t learn from it .

Most people didn't think lying about having "cigar fun" arose to that level. Lying about everything related to Russia might be different.

I genuinely beg them to continue pushing this and seek impeachment. Please please please. But they won't they know they have to dangle it out there every now and then to appease the radical media and base. How would those donations look if they came out and said "we will not seek impeachment, the President did not collude with Russia nor did he obstruct justice, we as a party are moving on?"

No! We elected Rs to majorities in the house and senate to do that and they failed miserably so they were voted out. Their base didn't turn out for them because of it.

If the Dems were smart (which is debatable) they would drop the Trump/Russia crap and start flooding the senate with reasonable legislation. They could pass bills lowering the rates in the middle of the tax bracket, restore the non-reimbursed business expense deductions. They could pass some form of reasonable immigration reform that takes away the claim of "the left cares more about illegals than they do you". Stay away from gun legislation and anti-business legislation, bury the medicare for all and free college talk and take the mature statesmen stance on things for the next year and a half. If they just did that for the next 18-20 months they would bury the Rs in both the house/senate, probably defeat Trump and come out of the 2020 elections with complete control.

I am not in the least bit upset. I thought they were professionally reserved and unbiased for the most part. Far more fair and balanced than the right-wing media.

Yeah I'm talking about the coordinated lying that went on to get ACA passed. The reason for our military action in Libya and Syria. The lies about ISIS, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, the IRS targeting and others that you chose to ignore for 8 years.

I think you put too much confidence in the average American to care . Most aren’t like us or this forum would be full of people from all walks of life everyday . The average Joe cares about what’s affecting him in his life / orbit and for most it’s not Russia X infinity . You can only keep someone’s attention on a story for so long before they lose interest . Just my opinion but I think most people in America have lost interest even before the report came out , now that’s it has and nobody’s going to jail , Trump is still president , it’s lost its appeal .
