Mueller Report Imminent

Not much worse than little Elian Gonzalez.. But take it up with Chris Wray?

I don't think you're going to find many people jumping for joy over either situation. Well, except liberals trying to justify why an overwhelming amount of force was used against Some.

Let's face it. The FBI does have a rather dubious public record with high profile raids.

Roger Stone didn't live in the same kind of neighborhood that Elian Gonzalez was in ... there's a difference in making a statement in an upscale neighborhood and in self protection in a barrio, but you probably knew that.

No excuse for either.

I’m surprised they didn’t set his house on fire and ram a tank through the front of his house.

Maybe before entering the Gonzalez house if there was a lot of attention outside, but certainly after going in it was unwarranted. In general the militaristic attitude of all police agencies these days is way over the top - and has been since 9/11. Falls directly in the Rahm Emanuel thing about never letting a good crisis go to waste when you have an opportunity to grab power.

As I recall "The Proud Boys" had committed themselves to protecting Roger Stone. Maybe they were a benign threat.. maybe not. I don't think any ended up being there, but as far as making a statement goes, I guess it got made.

You're really reaching with your excuses.

So...

A bunch of roided up dudes that have never brandished a firearm in public and tend to support law doesn't were worthy of a tactical team?

You're really reaching. Fairly sad too

Well,. I was responding to the "different than the barrio" comment. It may indeed be a reach, but would be more similar to "The Barrio" , than without the Proud Boys.

Oh, my bad. Didn't intend to make you look foolish.

Carry on.
You didnt..

I don't know what goes into FBI contingency planning, but I'll bet you Proud Boys was somewhere in the contingency plan. As I said, maybe they'd be benign, but has the FBI ever brought fists to a "maybe a fistfight"? The Proud Boys are known for violence... It's all moot anyway, as none were there.
