Muschamp as DC?

A lot can be said for continuity. Some familiar faces and stability. One year with walk ons in your two deep and we're ready to change our DC. Good God. Let's keep the same coaches for three full seasons and then see if we need to drop the axe.

Do we try and at least offer him the DC job here...It would give him the chance to still coach/get paid and gets the chance to stick it to Fla every year...I know its a long shot and prob wouldn't happen, but, I wouldn't mind it at all. As bad as a HC as he is, he was a Damn good DC...I bet Texas would love to have him back.
Someone is going to offer him a DC job, why not us?

I know that CBJ prob will not fire Jancek(sp) or Bajakian(sp) this yr, but if he did, why not go after Muschamp as DC or Randy Shannon :)

OC: not really sure about this one, maybe the guy from Baylor like someone stated earlier...but I am not giving up on Bajakian yet.

If CBJ did fire Jancek and went after a top tier DC after this debacle and with the talent we have coming in, it would tell me he is not settling and will do whatever it takes to win and get this program back.

Coach Bajakian I am letting have a pass...injuries on offense to your starting QB, who was actually starting to play really well and get in sync with these young receivers, gets hurt and then your 2nd string is hurt, physically and mentally and you have to play a true freshman, that can cause a lot of efficiency problems. I sorta like some of his play calls and to me looked like, with the right players, would actually work.

Jancek is garbage...proved it at GA and proving it again.
No QB spy against Any team that had a running QB and then lets the only decent receiver that Vandy has, Matthews, catch 12 passes...unforgivable

So let me get this right you are blaming the defense for a loss when they only gave up 14 points when they had to defend a short field 3 times in the game due to TO by the offense and another break down in ST. It does not matter who the DC is if the offense cannot score more than 14 points we are not going to win many games in the SEC.

Think about this Kentucky was able to score more on them than we did and we held them to there lowest point total of the season.

Jokers, our D has been the best thing on the field and over played all year. Of all the changes you might make (I would make non), DC is the LAST.

Muschump aside, what is this boards fascination with Randy Shannon. If he is so great why is he not a DC currently?

Uga fans say their DC is gone this year and would go hard after him if that happens. I would be for it but I know how butch is. It won't happens jancek stays

Muschamp's seat was getting warm at Texas due to his defenses poor performance on the field.

The thing people do not get is Muschamp was good with elite talent but with average talent he looks like a average coach.
