I totally agree about Muschamp. That can be said about a lot of "good" coaches though. Great players tend to make avg coaches look good.

Randy Shannon is in that camp. His Miami defenses were loaded. Once the talent dropped, not so much.

Yes I agree and the fact that no one else has hired Shannon should be enough evidence that he is not a elite DC and is probably damaged goods at this point in his career.

Yeah, the D has been stout against running QB's and non-running QB's who tuck it and run. Also, can't say enough about the schemes in the last 2 min of games..

Yea seeing that butch was about our 5th or 6th choice after being turned down by the intial prospective coaches and winning one ball game in the SEC.

I would say now is a time to be pridefull:salute:

Well seems like Muschamp will be in market soon for a job and could definitely use a new DC ..do we go after him ?

Bajakian I have mixed feelings ..I loved his style and imagination while at Cincy ..but last few games he looked flat as hell ..once down he seems to go into his shell..

Who is a good OC in Market ??

Don't see Muschamp getting fired, even for that FCS loss. I believe the reports are that he is safe for 2014.

wow..that actually would make sense and at the same time makes me cringe at the thought that Vandy would have a coach that would make a move up in the ranks of the sec while we are searching for one that can have success in our program:cray:

Butch is not changing any coaches. someone could get a better offer and leave but Butch likes his guys
