What you posted is the equivalent of stating that you wouldn't take Saban because we can't handle another coaching change. It's a ridiculous position.
-Western KY scored 20.
-Oregon scored 59.
-Florida...FLORIDA scored 31.
-South Alabama scored 24.
-Bama scored 45.
-Mizzou scored 31.
-Auburn scored 55.
Even after including a stat-padding shutout against Austin Peay, our defense gives up an average of 30 points per game over the 11 games they've played so far.
I agree that the offense is not where it needs to be, but you can't say our defense isn't the problem.
As much as I believe that Jancek will never do well as an SEC defensive coordinator, Butch is going to keep his staff his entire tenure at the university. For better or worse, he is going to either win with them or crash and burn with them. Only time will tell whether or not Butch's hiring, and his retention of assistants plays out to the advantage of UT football.
Butch is not changing any coaches. someone could get a better offer and leave but Butch likes his guys
If this post is true, I drop his chances of succeeding here dramatically.
That said, I believe he is a little more intelligent than that. Surely.
He's had them on staff for awhile, next year we are going to be starting a bunch of freshmen, and still have little to no depth, and the defense is probably not going to be any better. 2015 will be the make or break year for Jancek, and with three recruiting classes that are all his, if he can't scheme and coach with his own hand-picked players, then it will probably be either fire Jancek or Butch.
Nah. CBJ will stick by Jancek and will not make any moves.
Muschamp has another year....I'd say UF will clear house in the way of assistants though. Here is to hoping our RB coach doesn't want to go back to his Alma Mater!
