I have said no regulation. I'm just hoping they will take an honest look at the rhetoric they have been using and realize that a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny percentage of the people listerning to them have been buying into this stuff.

which has nothing to do with this story. The man was already doing this stuff before any of the current radio people were broadcasting

Ah, but therein lies the difference. I totally agree that criticizing Obama for spending, for judiciary appointments, for foreign policy, all that is just fine.

Its the claims that he is not a U.S. citizen, or that he's a secret Muslim sleeper agent, and things of that ilk, that need to be dialed back.
Who is accusing Obama of not being a citizen (which radio personality)?
Look at joevol and his use of "Hussein" left and right. I'm telling you, these suspicions are out there and they are inciting irrational fear of Obama.

But what have they done to incite this type of behavior? Nuts are going to be nuts no matter what you say. What drove this holocost memorial shooter over the edge? It seems to me he has been over the edge for some time, it also sounds like he has adopted the conspiracy theories of the loony left as well, do they not deserve some blame as well?
Its been a little bit like the whole War of the Worlds debacle. There's been this alarmist quality to the rheotric and all I am saying si that I hope these commentators will be mindful of that moving forward.

See underlined.

You don't get it, the talking heads sent him over the edge. This guy was completely rational in his hatred for other people for the past 70 plus years of his life. This guy was about as sound as a human being can get. Boortz sent him over the edge.

I agree. They should start pumping that Obama sunshine up our A$$ like the rest of the media.

Isn’t that the cutest family that you have ever seen in your life? And how about that Michelle, boy she has great arms and dresses so well. The first dog is great. And the President is so inspirational; when he speaks it sends thrills up my leg.

Personally I roughly equate the amount of blame deserved by the talk radio guys for this event with the blame the Beatles should shoulder in the death of Sharon Tate.

Why should they take an "honest" look at their rhetoric when you refuse to take an honest look at your theory?

You've linked 2 of the 3 shootings/assassinations of the last week or so to talk radio with out a shred of evidence for either one. You even started this one with a disclaimer then go on throughout the thread with the assumption that talk radio had something to do with this. Not surprisingly, these linkages are becoming a common left talking point.

Your posts are everything you criticize in "conservative talk" tactics.

My how the tables have turned. W was never called a name by anyone on the left.

Do you try to be this hypocritical or does it just come natural?

Yes he was called a killer of women and children, said he did it all for oil. I guess by LG's thinking this would make those who said anything like this in some way responsible for the beheading of so many western journalists and contractors.

He also listened to KMFDM. He only needed to be a veteran for full-on panic mode from the DHS.

I've listened to KMFDM for ~23 years now and a veteran as well.

I might be receiving a visit from DHS soon. :mf_surrender:

It's an interesting point KB - perhaps John Kerry is responsible for some deaths of soldiers in Iraq since he equated them to terrorists.

All the anti-war protests that claimed atrocities are responsible for deaths as well.

Bottomline - opinions kill

I've only been listening to them for 14 years, but I'm a vet as well...

Watch out, if you're receiving any kind of VA benefits (loan, disability, etc) that's just a small price the government will pay to keep an eye on you... you terrorist, you.

another day and another thread where LG's irrational hatred of conservatives has him blaming them for the crime of some psychopath.

Not receiving any benefits at all. Guess I'm lucky in that regard?!
