I may be wrong and I don't mean to put words in his mouth but I got the impression he is speaking specifically about the extreme right wing Christian nut jobs, not the average christian. There is a significant difference.

It may be wrong of me but I have always found this funny. Anyone that doesn't know a bucket filled with liquid is a drowning hazard for kids shouldn't have them in the first place.

The thing that comes up for me when I think of lawyers is the billboard battle of Knoxville between Stephen A. Burroughs and Ogle, Elrod and Baril (actually sold them phone service a couple years ago).

Why do people feel the need to further qualify "extreme nut job"? Why would it matter if they pass themselves off as Christians? (or Muslims or Wiccans or Environmentalists or...)

If somebody is as crazy as a tree full of ferrets I usually find it pretty easy to dismiss them as nutjobs, affiliation be damned. Whatever particular cause their fevered brains latched onto at the time could just as easily be replaced by another cause and it wouldn't make any difference. I've never known somebody I considered having screws loose that didn't have something to be all wound up about, even if it was in direct conflict with last week's ravings.
