My God.... never thought Arkansas would out hire us

Beliema fired his offensive line coach Mike Markuson after first two games. I think he will adjust quickly to the SEC.

no matter who Arky hired, they will be playing for 4th place in the west for the next several years.

Sounds like Wisconsin fan has sour grapes. I understand. But Beliema is a fantastic hire any way you look at it. I'm sure Saban's not happy having another young, elite, proven winner to contend with every year. But, at least it looks like Hart is going to cheer him up tomorrow.

But they did. I would take Biliema (sp?) In a heartbeat over Gundy or Strong. Why couldn't we make a lateral hire? Why do we have to go to a lower tier program for our coach? Why not go after Kevin Sumlin or the guy from Oregon (Kelly?).

We can't get it right for nothing. :banghead2:

INCREDIBLE. This board never ceases to amaze me.

I think we could do a lot worse than Strong and some of the names that have been bandied about in the post-Gruden days make me hope he has signed on to Coach the Vols. He's not my first choice but by no means is he last.

Why in the Hades would Sumlin leave A & M after 1 year , a great record, a great QB, and Texas' recruiting ground? Let's get rational.

Why can't we wait until a coach is actually introduced before we piss and moan incessantly about how we're going to suck for eternity. Get a grip, man.

OP is catching the utfantilidie thread starting disease. Not fatal but it leaves some nasty sores

OP is looking pretty insightful right now seeing how Arkansas hired a decent coach with a history of winning and Tennessee is still COACHLESS.....

Way to fail again PJ and Countvol.:good!:

Beliema underachieved with an extremely talented team. Did you see what Wisconsin did to Nebraska? They were capable of playing on that level for the majority of the season. Strong has more SEC experience. The SEC is a totally different league, even compared to the Big 10 or 12. Him and Strong would be about even on strength of hire.

You do realize he had to replace 6 assistants before this season? You do realize he has one of the worse recruiting bases? You do realize he's put more athletes in the NFL the past few years than Saban?

Well... Now Arky did officially out hire us.... By a long shot.

Just go ahead and count down to the next coach

We had a shot at Bielema, but we didn't want him because he had no experience recruiting in the south. That's why we brought in the guy from Michigan and Ohio.

I'd rather be counting down to a new chancellor and athletic director. And throw Susan Martin out, too. They're to blame for this. Listen to the crickets in neyland next year for that powerhouse Austin peay game. Idiots. Incompetent idiots.
