My Heisman Theory.......

I've argued both sides and there is no perfect solution, but the BCS standings is a ridiculous arbiter. I understandising it to narrow the argument down, but after narrowed, the head to head being ignored is senseless.
JP?
But I get what you are saying...

Are you kidding me. Your WAC style defenses conference has the stupidest rules in history for determining the tiebreaker. Call it whatever you want, but I'll stick with weaseling.

The day you present something reasonable that I don't understand, I'll quit posting.

Okay my friend try this one. The earlier you lose a game the better off you are. That has been the case forever. We lost first to Texas (several reasons for that we can spell out later) We lost to Texas by 10. Texas lost to Tech by 3. We murdered Tech. In the old system before the BCS we would still be ranked higher. If for some reason Texas was chosen instead of us You are back to square one on Tech should go because they beat Texas head to head. Head to head means nothing in a three way tie. :peace2:
ohh and not to put you on overload here but check out those SEC offenses before you downgrade our defenses. It's not pretty my new found friend.

Tech was due for a major bust performance... You got Tech at home, Texas didnt. Texas beat you at a neutral site. It doesn't matter. Texas will crush OSU, and you will get smacked.

defense wins championships, unless, of course, there are none to be found anywhere, as is the case in the Big 12. Then, quirky rules seem to win the day.
