O, and on a side note, I was listening to the Sports Animal on the radio on the way home from work and one of the analysts said that Pearl has said he thinks Ramar is UT bound.

Yeah...those BCS schools are just too tough to compete with. Just ask Iowa, Arkansas, Seton Hall, Oklahoma, Tennessee, LSU, and Boston College.

They are obviously heads and shoulders above their smaller more inferior counterparts.

Add Nebraska, Colorado and Oklahoma State to that list also.

They obviously are heads and shoulders above the Missouri Valley!

Tennessee, LSU, and BC to my memory, are still playing. I don't remember seeing Nebraska, Colorado, or Oklahoma State in the tournament. All you mid-majorphiles need to get out a tape of Hoosiers and watch that instead of the tournament. You can get your fill of ground bound white bread hoops there.

To lump guys like David Lattin and Bobby Joe Hill, as well as a coach like Don Haskins in with the stiffs that inhabit the mid-major world is an insult.

LOLOLOL, that is extremely funny that you pick two of the teams at the bottom of the barrel of the MVC considering 2(Creighton and Missouri State) were 2 of the biggest snubs this year.

Really. I don't quite consider 1966 and 2006 a comparison between like situations. There was a little thing called segregation back then. If you didn't sleep through history class, you might have heard about it.

Name a few midmajor teams in the tourney this year that are all white since the majority are all white.

Well, if you are that starved for a compliment, then you must have a pretty sad life my friend.

As far as the PG, either may land as the PG. You still haven't been bold enough to put in who you think it will be and saying it will be someone that isn't on the roster isn't predicting.

I'm not sure where race comes into white bread. I often use that term to describe dull, pedestrian things. Look at the style of play of the vast majority of these darlings. Creighton, Bucknell, Butler and the rest of the holy pantheon of mid-majors gone by, play a game that caters to what they do. The Bucknell/ Northern Iowa Bracket Buster game may have been the worst in ESPN history.To try and prove their point, "smart" guys like you continually try to shift the definition of mid-major. For example, you have people proclaiming Memphis and UAB as "mid-majors" That's a joke. Those team were in a conference last year that included Cincinnati, Louisville, and Marquette. They recruited the vast majority of those players in that environment. Let's see what those teams look like in a few years. By then, the lure of recruiting kids to take trips to exotic locales like Hattiesburg, Greenville, and Huntington will take hold. Cal will, of course, be fine and Mike Anderson will have long since moved on.

To your other point, I'm not starved for compliments, that's just a commentary on what I think of your opinion.

By the way, I'm still waiting for the quality nonconference wins by Creighton and Missouri State. You seem to have missed that point. I'm sure, given that they were "two of the biggest snubs", they have to have a number of them.

Or George Mason. Or Air Force. Or Utah State. Put Cincinnati, Maryland, and FSU in the field. That would have left the rest of the mid major dreck to battle over a couple of bids.

Yeah, I agree Hotlanta. He really reminds me of the guy that in a public place will try to one up anyone around by either blurting out some tidbit of useful knowledge or bring up how he just got a brand new ______.

As far as quality wins go, you don't have to have 4 or 5 big wins to get into the tourney. RPI, SOS, Conf RPI, and big losses are a bigger factor in getting in.
