My Journey to Alaska and back....again (and other Army/YankeeVol life adventures)

It's not the time I'm concerned about, its the change in the Army.

I hear ya. I seen the changes coming in the USAF before I retired. The changes that are happening today I'd find hard too support.

Being at 14 it's got to be hard! That's like being stuck between a rock (14 years) and a hard spot (retirement). All I can tell you is too hang in there, retirement is great.

The civilian world is not all I thought it would be.

That was my failed attempt at a joke. Even I see changes that agate me and piss me off at the same time

Just wait until you get a female joe

The one I had wasn't tough at all. The first two Soldiers I had though (both males) are probably going to make any and all future Soldiers seem like a breeze. And having to fill in as Co clerk made it seem like all 131 of our Soldiers were mine. I've got to see a lot of stupid. It's mind blowing

I'm officially PCSing. They keep giving me the run around on my extension so f*** 'em. I'll be glad to be back in God's Country

You have to wait a certain time between jumps?

No. We have quite a few coming up. Each Battalion only gets so many chutes (current jumpers don't have priority) so I have to strap hang (hope someone no shows or they have unassigned chutes left over). Now having a JM band helps. I'm actually trying to get on one today.

You need a GoPro, bro:)
