If making a title game is "achieving mediocre goals", then I would absolutely settle for mediocrity. And I'm quite sure about 99.9% of all UT basketball fans would also.

Would be better than having never been there with no banners. That's not hard logic. Not to mention it would help with the rivals that had no banners when you get in a pissing match with them.

Seeing as how you rank 6th on the list of "most NCAA appearances without a final Four".....

I'd say making it to a championship would be very significant, regardless of the outcome.

This is starting to get old. What school are you a fan of? If it's Tennessee, they have never made it past the sweet 16. A national championship game would be a great start, don't you think? If you're a bammer, gator or mildcat, stfu.
