Well, I guess that makes more sense. Bammer never won a title in basketball. In that vein, neither has Tennessee but we would like to get a chance to play for one.

well judging from Tennessee history. Sweet 16s being our high water mark. Id be happy with a few elite 8 banners. And you dont even cut nets down for that.

So as a fan you would be thrilled if Pearl did nothing other than just make the sweet 16 for the rest of his time at UT? Ummm....I think making the final 4 is a little better than making the sweet 16 every year. If we made the final 4 every year, I would say that eventually we would win one. To me that's better than never even getting there.

Why would they be jumping off buildings in Vegas? Is it:
(a) Because they lost so much money betting against us in the previous 5 games that taking the easy way out is now the best option?

Or

(b) Because they decided the best way to celebrate their can't-lose moneyline bet on the upcoming finals is base jumping off the stratosphere?

We have never won the ncaa championship. I don't like UK but since you brought them into this argument. UK last won in 1998. They have 7 total ncaa championships second only to UCLA who has 11. Your tarheels have 5 with the two most recent in 05 and 09. However, kentucky still has more than your team and they might be adding another this year. I hope they don't though. Unless we are out of the tourney already then I will root for them simply because they are in the SEC and it makes our conference look good if they win.

Northern Car'lina also may be approaching one of the worst ever fall from graces. I wonder who the modern record holder is for the worst record one season after winning it all.

I have to admit, every time I see UNC in the Loss column when checking scores...a smile comes across my face and, for a just a brief moment, all is right in the world.

Ive been a fan ever since I was born, so saying I jumped on board the day after they won a title is stupid. I hate people like that they make me sick. If I were that way I would wear a bama hat....

Hating me just because I dont support Vol Basketball isnt very fair is it?
