So I attended UT 1975-1979. I lived in Carrick Hall for two years and then in Andy Holt apartments two years. Both were relatively new buildings and the Presidential Complex was the place to be. I spent a lot of time at the Student Center my freshman year (you know - before I got new friends) going to movies, bowling, shooting pool. I attended every basketball game at Stokely Athletic Center and knew a few jocks that lived in Gibbs Hall. I actually did some school work while there and spent many a late night at the library. Loved to go to Strong Hall for the burgers.

Well, Stokely is gone. Andy Holt is gone. Student Center is gone. Strong Hall is gone. Rest of Presidential Complex is about to be gone. Gibbs Hall is gone. Library is buried somewhere inside a newer, bigger library. I guess every 40-50 years these makeovers happen. But not a whole lot left for me to go back and show my grandkids.

"Time stops for no one" - so true.

Wow, I've missed some of the changes. Was up there for the Mizzou game last year but didn't get passed the stadium. Agree with all of your memory lane feelings.

I remember when the library was split up into the bottom of Humanities, Dunford, and Hoskins library. There are probably some other locations that I'm forgetting.

If you were writing a paper, you usually had to go to at least a couple of locations to track down the books you needed. Good times.

Sounds a lot like the time I was there. Lived at both places you listed and worked at the University Center in the Down Under for 3 years, renting out bowling shoes, pool tables and ping pong paddles. Best years of my life and I knew it.

If Stefano's pizza is still there, I'm good. Windy City on whole wheat ftw.

Yes. Not the original ownership, but it's the same otherwise. Now owned by the same owners of Aubrey's, the Sun Spot, and Barley's.

Kingston Pike and Cedar Bluff stores are gone.
