I’d guess Florida loses more than 1 (Blackshear). Dontay Bassett has already entered the transfer portal. I’d bet Andrew Nembhard and Keyontae Johnson think long and hard about going pro.1)Auburn...loses their Top 6, #20 class
2)LSU...loses 2 of their Top 6, could be up to 3 more depending on NBA decision, #7 class
3)Kentucky...always an unknown on coming/going, #1class
4)Tennessee...lose 1 player, #4 class
5)South Carolina...lose 2 of their top 6, #91 class
6)Mississippi State...lose 2 of their Top 7, possible 3 as Woodard is considering NBA, #48 class
7)Alabama...lose 3 of their Top 6, #46 class
8)Georgia...lose 6 of their Top 8, #32 class
9)Arkansas...lose 4 of their Top 6, #10 class
10)Florida...lose 1 player, #23 class
11)Texas A&M...lose 3 of their Top 8, #44 class
12)Ole Miss...lose 1 player, #45 class
13)Vanderbilt...lose 4 of their Top 10, #98 class
14)Missouri...lose 1 player
so my prediction as of today...
Kentucky
Tennessee
LSU
Florida
Texas A&M
Arkansas
South Carolina
Auburn
Ole Miss
Alabama
Mississippi State
Missouri
Georgia
Vanderbilt
2019 recruits don’t affect the class rankings for 2020. If you’re fishing in the one and done waters then early departures happen. Would have expected him to land a top 20 class most years. 98th class is a huge surprise to meUnfortunately for him, his best recruit decided to jump to the NBA based on his name lol.

I think you are a little high on UF (Mike White is still their coach) and pretty low on Bama. The rest, I agree with but acknowledging that a lot can still change to shake things up a bit.
I don't entirely disagree, but I don't think Florida was great to begin with, they lose their best player, the recruiting class isn't going to blow you away, and their coach can't maximize talent. I'd put Arkansas and Alabama ahead of them. Maybe Texas A&M, too. For me, they would probably in that middle tier with A&M, South Carolina, and Auburn.Well Florida did finish T4th this year and as of today only loses Blackshear (Bassett wasn’t a Top 9 rotation guy even)...they also add 2 Top 75 players to the mix as well. I’m not advocating for Mike White at all, but an argument can be made as of today that they’ll have a better roster next year than this year. Add in that Auburn is expected to take a big step backwards and that is why I put them 4th.
As much criticism as White gets (and I agree most is deserved), he has finished Top 4 in 3/5 years at Florida.I don't entirely disagree, but I don't think Florida was great to begin with, they lose their best player, the recruiting class isn't going to blow you away, and their coach can't maximize talent. He inherited a decent roster and lost nothing of note from Billy Donovan's last team. He still had Kasey Hill, Dorrian Finney-Smith, Chris Chiozza, John Egbunu, and added Keyvaughn Allen, Kevarrius Hayes, and Keith Stone...all 3 top-100 kids. He still only improved their SEC record by 1 game, and again finished tied for 8th.I would have to go back and really look, but he did take over a team that went 16-17 and finished 8th in a very bad SEC.

Throw that season out, and he still finished 8th in the SEC again in his 4th season, last year. At 19-15, he shouldn't have made the tournament.
I'd hate to think what they'd have looked like, this year, if Blackshear had gone to Tennessee or UK. Even with landing the #1 grad transfer on top of a top 10 recruiting class, he still went 19-12.
I know you aren't really trying to make a case for him to be COY, but he really has barely done enough to stay employed, and frankly, his job may have been saved by the abrupt ending to this season. Another 1st or 2nd rd flameout in the NCAAT, and I'm not certain UF brass would have been very forgiving given the talent he'd have wasted on a 13 or 14 loss team.
Certainly not outlandish. I never meant to imply that. I said I thought you were a little higher on them than I was, which is what seems to be playing out. You seem to have them in the 4-5 range, and I have them in the 5-8 range.Again...and like you stated, I’m not campaigning for him...but by your own standards he has finished Top 4 in 3/4 seasons, so me predicting him to finish 4th next season isn’t really some outlandish prediction given their rosters current shape. I don’t have an issue with them being a spot or two lower, but given some others ahead of them losing way more I think 4th seems pretty fair.
And again, that very well may not save his job, but that’s also not at all my point.
