True, but the other satellite we brought down was done so from an interceptor ship. I don't know details of how it was done, but I suspect if we were shooting at a satellite off the coast of california at a weird time of day it was done because that particular location provided a fortuitous spot in it's orbit, and it was shot at as a target of opportunity on short notice. That would explain the lack of knowledge by some thought to be "in the know". That is a lof of "ifs" though.

This whole thing is probably something completely different if one applies Ockam.

And I am really glad not to be working MDA anymore. The beuracracy didn't allow for any meaningful engineering work to get done...at least where I worked.

I mean really... if it's super top sekret... why in all hell would ANYONE have this thing in the middle of the biggest city in the country???

I can buy this as an "oops" and the military is trying to play dumb just to not lose any face

And if it were an attack or something sinister by now we'd be feeling those effects, or have been shot at again if this one failed.

Laughing my a** off at people who were so paranoid about the "mysterious missile". Turns out it was a airplane contrail.

But you know...

it could have been a missile fired from a submarine manned by illegal immigrants to distract you while they try to get over the border so they can take yr jobs. Or better yet, it was the liberal media staging the entire event so they could distract people from the mid term election results. Or better yet, it was probably Obama's real birth certificate being blasted into space so no one would ever find out the truth that he's really not an American citizen.

I was in the Navy, I've seen many short range to long range missles launch. watching the video, it was not from some plane. I've talked to navy friends and they've said the same thing. that was a missle. it would not suprise me if it was the chinese sending a message to Oblabla.

it would not suprise me at all that china was able to penetrate our 'net' we gave them alot of sub technology during the clinton admin.

it is funny how quickly the missle turns from our land and back out to see.
