You conspiracy nuts are hilarious.

To think it was China isn't actually too much of a stretch.

China has been in a game of cat-mouse with the US for decades now. This wouldn't be any departure from the norm, really.

If someone claimed responsibility or reported absolute facts concerning this issue, the conspiracy thoughts might go away. I've seen neither, so far.

I was in the Navy, I've seen many short range to long range missles launch. watching the video, it was not from some plane. I've talked to navy friends and they've said the same thing. that was a missle. it would not suprise me if it was the chinese sending a message to Oblabla.

Your job in the Navy was?

And this is why trial by jury is a joke.

There was a near identical contrail 24 hours later. In order for a missile launch theory to hold water, you would have to believe that a 2nd launch occurred the next day, in relatively the same spot.

So, it's impossible? I don't know what it was. Not saying it's one thing or the other. UFO, as it were.:loco:

sheep are much worse.

how many airplanes do you see that leave a trail of smoke with they take off? none. if they all left a trail of smoke, you would never see the air port due to all the smoke. airplanes couldn't land.

that was definitely a missle.

of course if this was during the Bush admin. you still be hearing reporters ask questions about it and demand update. you'll never get with oblabla.

The plane took off from Hawaii it was in mid flight. It hadn't just taken off. The only way for your theory to hold water is for China (or someone else) to shoot off a missile every day at the same time along the same route as than plane flight.

You people hate Obama so much you make up sh*t instead of focusing on the crazy stuff the man is actually doing. I don't understand you people at all.

Yes, no planes leave trails when they take off. I'm sure many a Seaman would agree

Just a shout out to all my Navy experts. Do what you do.

Actually, I think it's suspended condensate rather than vapor (e.g., CONdensate TRAIL). Maybe?

Condensation occurs from vapor being cooled. From a scientific standpoint, your description would be what I would refer to as the "best" answer.

But in this case, the egg definitely came before the chicken.
