name 5 bad things about President Obama

My wife is much more politically savvy than I am. The one thing that she agrees with me on is that even though he may have changed his tune since being Gov., we feel that he has at least given the same spiel during his entire campaign. We feel that that is the very reason that he had to come from behind because his message is dull and boring. Basically, the Federal Government needs to just stay out of things. Maybe I am wrong, but I can't vote for GJ and would shoot myself before supporting Barry and his merry band of idiots

I think you mean well, but you are a walking contradiction.

I know I sound close minded and I may be on some things but on others I am quite open minded. But I absolutely despise people like Sandra Fluke. The sad fact is that a majority of the Dems support her and her flawed cause only furthers the false platform of the "war on women". There are bad apples in the GOP, but most of them get denigrated by their own party (see Trent Lott).

There certainly isn't an active "war on women" but they surely are shooting themselves in the foot with women.

Oh, and there are more than a few bad apples in the GOP.

Blaming Obama for the things that the Congressional GOP simply will not do out of political spite is exactly why Obama is still leading this election despite 8 % unemployment, and is the reason the House GOP has the lowest approval ratings of all time.

Obama has been far from perfect. And in the end I think there is very little any person in that office could do to expedite the recovery. What little he could do, with some rare exception, has been stymied by the temper tantrums from the far right that are afraid of their own shadows at this point.

The new book by Woodward tells a pretty interesting and different story about Obama's cooperation with Congress. It dates back to Day 1 where he asked for ideas, received plenty (particularly from Cantor) that were widely supported bi-partisanly and rejected them all telling Cantor specifically that elections have consequences and "Eric I won" or something to that effect.

Reports are consistent and frequent that he has made the least effort of any modern president to both engage Congress and to reach across the aisle.
