NASCAR bans the confederate flag

Amazing, that is the same combination as on my luggage.

Honestly, as good as Spaceballs was, i still think the best comedy movie of that "genre" was Airplane! and Naked Gun....Leslie Neilsen was simply the best at deadpan comedic delivery

Airplane is the pinnacle of slapstick.

"These people need a hospital!"

"What is it?"

"A building for sick people, but that's not important right now!"

A little issue called COVID kinda stopped the tour, you might have heard of it. He 100% still does standup.
He has not done standup since 1987. He site that you linked highlighted this fact.

Here is a profile for you. Not even trying to convince you . This is just funny.

Eddie Murphy Is Bringing Eddie Murphy Back

"What they saw was something that has been sorely missing from popular culture for more than three decades: Eddie Murphy, one of the funniest people to ever tell jokes into a microphone, doing stand-up. Over the years, Murphy has teased fans with talk of a comeback, but this time, inspired by “Dolemite,” he appears to mean it. He signed a deal with Netflix to put out a new special next year, and has a theater tour lined up, which means he could be in clubs working out jokes soon. "

He would not be returning to it if he was actively participating already. Dude just admit defeat. You are out of touch.

Why don't you complain about Red Foxx next. lmao

Dave Chappelle is a comedic genius.

You should hear him on the serious stuff, too. Very intelligent.
It was no accident that he was chosen as the SNL host the Saturday after the 2016 election. There were few who could have pulled off what he did. Still one of the greatest SNL's ever.

I don't know about yall, but the current discussion is exactly what this thread needed, vnpf needed, and what i needed. Thanks to all.

Between @1972 Grad running off like the thin skinned ninny he is and discussing the best comedies of the 70' and 80's, this is my favorite VNPF day in quite some time.

I don't know what's going on but it was gone from my page. I'm on my laptop. All I know is that it gets gone and when I go back it's still gone or a different version is up. It's still BS. By now they should know something. I'd say Nascar and petty's PR teams are digging in. And the law has to find a graceful way out. It's gonna be a fun ride. Just noted you posted from Yahoo sports and I go to Yahoo News. Foxsports has nothing.

Who cares what comparable and whats not. Is racism not racism. If America wants to end systemic racisim why is it ok for one side to use a racist term, but not the other. Shouldn't we be against either side using racist terms?

If you're making a comparison, the comparison should be valid. This has nothing to do with race and everything to do with good discourse.

I keep comparing the current crop of late night TV comedians to when Johnny Carson or Jay Leno were on. They didn't do anything political other that to crack a joke about politicians stumbling or falling or making a gaff. Now days they have become so serious and everything they do is so not funny.
For the sake of thread levity, I'll not even discuss why.
