Nashville Forecast 90 Degrees.

Going to be a blistering hot day next Saturday; no clouds and no wind. Asinine to play a football game in those conditions; as it will go down to 65 at night.
ABC/Disney don't CARE!

Not every game can be played at night and games have been played in the heat for literally decades

Everyone will survive

I say to hell with the TV Networks. Schedule NO Daytime SEC games in August and really Most of September. IF, we are really concerned about "Player Safety". (which is total bs) Furthermore what about Fan Safety? Heat strokes are a real possibility. No common sense in anything anymore. Defend all you want, say we have no choice, that's how people are controlled.

The game is still 6 days away. The weather forecast will change between now and then. Football in early September is oftentimes played in 90 degree weather.

I think UCLA 91 in Knoxville was hottest game I remember.

it was extremely hot. I've may have sat through hotter though, hard to say.

1997 at the Rose Bowl against UCLA. They ran out of water by halftime. My wife, along with thousands of other fans spent second half behind stands in the shade.

Mississippi State 1986 in Starkville was miserable. We had taken a bus to the game and half the people went to the bus at halftime and watched second half on the bus.

Miami 2003 was hot.. South Florida is brutal most of the time. LOL

and Wyoming and Bowling Green at Nissan were really bad. Had people that went to both games with me leave.

Its really hard to to say which is hotter. When it gets to a certain point, its just miserable. I would have to give some thought to it but been plenty of miserable heat games in Knoxville. The Arkansas State game in 2014 my wife, daughter and grandson all left at halftime due to heat..

and Virginia will be right there with them..

1997 UCLA was nowhere close to 91 UCLA. I was at both. 97 was hot, 91 was dangerous.

Remember attending an opening day game at Shields Watkins Field back in the early 2000s and temp was 90 with zero clouds and or wind. We took our Beacons and made hats out of them but, with all the sweat, the hats literally melted onto our heads. Oh what fun times!!

Hell I remember seeing us play GA back in 07 at home in early October and I thought I was going to spontaneously combust! The heat that day was oppressive! Especially for that time of year.

A couple of things:

1: keep in mind, the game kicks off at 11:00am CT, most of the time, the hottest temperature hits around mid afternoon, like 3:30 or 4, so the game will be played before the temperature maxes out

2: hydrate a lot on friday, and obviously before the game Saturday, and you’ll be fine
