Nashville Government covered up COVID rates

That's how this should have been handled from the JUMP! But when the .gov closes your employers doors or your own business it's out of your hands.
Humans do adapt to survive. Science. Basic human instinct So I'm almost sick at someone as self centered as you to try to say "may fast food is slow". Give them a job hog.

Damning how poorly Nashville has recovered given TN is in the upper half of the key metrics in handling Covid.

When you are a service/entertainment based economy and your idiot mayor shuts it down there isn't much you can suddenly do to increase revenue.

We are sales tax based state and hotel tax covers alot of Davidson county cost.

Idiot threw the baby out with the bath water.

He might be a fisherman, the restaurant shutdowns are killing them. Or he could be a farmer the shutdowns are going to put a lot of farms out of business.
Or he could work for a stainless steel restaurant equipment manufacturer..... there are a bunch of offshoot industries that simpletons cannot fathom

We went to Mexico about a month ago, I did wear one in the airport and on the plane because I don’t F with TSA. That’s the only time. Most places in Rutherford County have a sign on their doors to wear one but if someone doesn’t no one says anything to us. Some places don’t even have a sign
I knew it was unavoidable. I don't think any less of you or disagree with your sentiment, because I think the whole mask thing is stupid also. But I've been in about 6-7 states and had to conduct simple tasks like buying groceries, gas, supplies, etc and haven't been able to dodge it. If no one makes a fuss, I keep it off, but normally, it is simply far easier to bite the bullet, get my business done and get out without getting some Karen or Keisha or coronabro' wanting to get into a confrontation. It just isn't a hill worth dying on.

I haven’t had to travel for work since this broke out so I’ve been able to stay local with the exception of the vacation. No one in Rutherford County really says anything if someone isn’t wearing one, again most places have signs but no one tries to enforce it. Even went to Nashville 2 weekends ago and no one said anything about us not wearing one.

Remember all the criticism/outrage of beaches being open back in the spring. Where were all the follow-up stories about clusters from the family beach trips?
You can find them in the same publications as those that document the widespread transmission and mortality amongst school children.

Wonder what “data” the Knox County health board covered up to extend the bar curfew for 4 more weeks

One of them admitted in their last meeting that they had zero evidence linking any spikes to bars and restaurants. One of them said that he drove by the bars one night and saw a line of people outside and that’s what he based his decision on. He then went on to say that he didn’t think we were at the point yet to start arresting people. Yet. So that’s what’s coming from these power tripping fools. Once that occurs, I’m sure the board will be doxxed and no longer safe in this town.

The sheer volume of people that don't understand that the things they use on a daily basis don't just magically appear out of thin air on store shelves always blows my mind.

My entire job is in supply chain, and I give a pass to people that don't understand the complexity or don't grasp the big picture. But I will never give a pass to people that can't even build out even one degree of supply chain 'complexity' when they try to think.

What, you mean my ground chuck doesn't grow on the ground chuck tree picked by immigrants who need a living wage?

Fact Check: Did Nashville mayor hide coronavirus stats? No.
The crux of the Fox17 story is the false claim that emails obtained by the news station show the Cooper Administration and Metro Public Health Department hid the relatively low number of coronavirus infections tied to bars. The emails appear to be cherrypicked from discovery filed in a lawsuit filed against the mayor by bar owners.

While that particular conversation may not have been public, city officials disclosed the low number of infections tied to bars – 30 infections at 10 locations at the time – two days later. Officials announced the statistic at a weekly press conference led by Cooper.

Yep. we cater primarily to Hospitals, Universities and Hospitality. We are a Casework/Millwork manufacturer/installer/kitchen and dining designer. We are struggling for orders from these customers.
