Nate Peterman being overlooked

Just wondering why this guy is being so overlooked....he has a strong arm, quick release and can scramble pretty good. Was the number 8 ranked overall QB on Rivals, a pretty big recruiting get. Everyone is talking about Dobbs and Fergerson but Peterman is bigger, stronger and a year in college unlike either of them.

Reports out of spring practice were that he needs to work on his accuracy and getting rid of the ball quicker.

I'm just happy that we have 4 quarterbacks fighting for the job.

I like all four. I just hope someone steps up and wins the job and it's not given to the lesser of 4 evils. Friday let the competition to begin.

i highly doubt he is being looked over,hopefully him or Worley wins the starting spot,if one of the freshmen wins it,it could be a huge problem,most likely Worley and Peterman could leave and the other freshman might go to greener pastures,highly unlikely i know,but it could happen

He has a lot of supporters on here. But if you're looking for 11 more threads talking @ how he deserves the job over the Jr with some experience, then maybe he's being "overlooked.

He sincerely will have 2 weeks of fall camp to seperate himself above JW in our coaches eyes. If he can't, then it will be JW starting and Peterman waiting in the wings for his chance.

He's just a Freshman, so man he's in a really good position to play over the next 4 years. And from what I've seen, it's not like he's "Brandon Stewart" or "AJ Suggs" here and sitting behind a rising freshman star.

I'll have to trust our coaches. I guarantee that they understand our #1 ? mark of this season, and have not overlooked him.

Bud he's not being overlooked.

Worley broke records with what he can do and we judge him off what Bray couldn't do.

Dobbs and Fergerson both have their talents; hell, everyone has their individual talents. However, the talents to make this football team work are not based on and individual, it's based on a team - a collective effect from the 11 guys on the offense, not one person.

Is Worley the guy? Is peterman the guy? Is Dobbs the guy? Is Fergerson the guy? Nobody knows bud.

All I can say is that we have a coaching staff that does know, and if they don't, they will figure it out.

We can't hand anyone the crown when we don't know what the King is thinking. We shouldn't judge anyone until the ball is in the court and results count.

Just my opinion but all of these what if threads are born out of bordem, not necessity.

Nobody is being overlooked. All 4 guys will get their shot in fall camp, and the one who gives us the best chance to win will get the job.

This board is not the coach. Being overlooked here does not mean Butch and his staff have forgotten anyone.

Where did you get that Peterman was being overlooked?

Even in the latest presser Worley and Peterman are competing right now at least until the freshman come in.

So I gather you are at the practices and see the coaching staff purposely ignoring Peterman?
