I just got an email from a major supplier announcing a “natural gas surcharge” on product from one of their plants in Germany, adding about 10% to the price of silica gel.
I don't think many will draw a meaningful distinction between the "big" difference you've illustrated.
You won't convince me there aren't plenty who aren't blaming Biden unilaterally for the hike at the gas pump. Every cent it goes up is Biden's fault, every cent it goes down will be in spite of him. The GOP leadership will be sure to crucify him in both directions as they suck in big oil campaign contributions through PAC's like a skid row meth riddled hooker.
Oil executives have a perfect scapegoat as they swim in record profits.
Leases wouldn't be generally sought if they weren't believed to be viable, with exceptions of course. It's the oil company that does the research and applies for the permitting to drill.
PolitiFact - Fact-checking Biden’s claim that there are 9,000 unused oil drilling permits
The truth is it's not really always in the best interest for oil companies to drill. I get that the president is an easy target to scape goat when things aren't going your way, but context matters. The oil companies could be producing more but aren't for various reasons but it's ALWAYS a 'follow the money scenario.' They don't GAS that American's or anyone else are getting crushed at the pumps.
It amazes me that people still believe that the POTUS sets the pricing on a global commodity market.
Did you thank him for record high inflation, record high gas prices, and record hit government spending too?
We follow CDC guidelines. Today is the first time Eastern TN has not been in the red level on their community level map.Laughable if serious.

Said it before, he has been dealt a bad hand. I don't think things wouldn't be much different if Trump had won the election, especially inflation wise. If anything the Ukraine would be even more vulnerable under Trump, we all know how he feels about Putin and Zelenskyy.
Just stop with the gas. It makes you look unintelligent. Yes gas was cheap because of a global pandemic and demand was low. Now its high because of everyone cutting Russia out. The US doesn't get hardly any oil from Russia, but other countries do. And guess what? The US exports to them to get their CEOs rich, while driving American prices up.You mean the guy who had $2 a gallon gas? I can’t pretend trump’s policies were great but you have to accept Biden’s are worse in terms of spending, energy, and inflation, right?

I wore the mask without any problems for 2 years, and some of yall complain about not being able to breathe if you have to wear it in the grocery store. LOL. And guess what, never got covid, wife didn't either.
