Got a link to that?
Interesting. Thank you.Democrats Ding Trump on Gas Prices | washingtonpost.com
There’s a YouTube link in there to the entire press conference.
Figured this was coming.
We should assume, until shown otherwise, that oil companies are not in cahoots on prices in this situation. And so I'm against this.
On the flip side, we're it shown that there is collusion in a crisis situation like this then I hope any available criminal penalties are brought to bear.
I didn't say that or imply it, try to stick with the arguments that are being made - not ones which you feel are more vulnerable.
I will say that while I'm sure that both sides take money from big oil, I can't recall the last time I saw a democrat weaponize the cost of gas against the republicans.
Perhaps it's happened, I just don't recall it.
Nixon left Carter with a mess, Carter gets basically all the blame from Republicans.
Bush left Obama with a mess, Obama gets most of the blame from Republicans.
Trump left Biden with a mess, Biden seems to be getting all of the blame from Trump people.

You’ve still not told us what’s been good about Biden’s energy policy.
You stated maybe the good out ways the bad. Can you tell me what the good is?
You don't understand. I'm not promoting that they are. The administration has. So I'd like to know, to start with, what percentage of the increase in price is attributable to what policy and what is attributable to Russian attack, covid winding down, etc.
You mean as soon as the price of oil goes back down the administration isn’t going to look to maintain this new friendship? The Biden administration is signaling to the oil industry we need your oil now to help lower prices, but not in the future. Increasing supply is not like turning on a light switch, it requires investment and I can see why oil companies may be reluctant to invest in longer term projects. Couple this with new regulations to meet climate targets on new/existing leases and the canceling on the Keystone XL which also provided a clear signal for other pipeline projects that this administration is anti-oil.
