The pay packages are valued at more than 14 times those of leaders of larger auto makers such as Ford Motor Co. and General Motors Co. They also rank among the biggest for any CEOs in the Russell 3000 index, accord-ing to data from MyLogIQ.
Good. At least then I can find a good job when the FAA says I am no longer capable to fly an airliner.EU's New Climate Change Tax Will Exempt Private Jets
All this stuff ties together..the rich and well.....us.
Sad that is what San Diego is becoming. I always saw it as an island in a sea of stupidity.I'm in San Diego this week and I get to buy $7 a gallon gas today. So excited!!
The only thing more exciting has been navigating the HORDES of homeless people downtown. Aint seen anything like this outside of LA.
Actually has been every Wednesday for at least a month... pretty soon Wednesdays will be the most expensive day to buy a dozen.Krispy Kreme is selling an a dozen original glazed doughnuts for the price of a gallon of gas. Today only!
By the time this promotion ends, you'll be paying a premium for a dozen donuts on Wednesdays.
Damn it’s too bad the San Fran urban decay model has made it all the way down the coast. San Diego was always the one place in the whole state I felt at home in.I'm in San Diego this week and I get to buy $7 a gallon gas today. So excited!!

Quick reminder to those who forget these facts. Not President nor Congress set gas prices, the private sector does. The last time oil was $120 per barrel gas prices were $3.96 per gallon. Also a fact, oil companies just reported record profits for the quarter. None of this is disputable. Now, I will watch, snickering, while everyone does a cute little dance around these facts.
If I were homeless, I would head to the California coast. The weather and the social policies would be unbeatable.I'm in San Diego this week and I get to buy $7 a gallon gas today. So excited!!

Seeing signs of the economy slowing down. Guy I know owns an electric motor shop. Clients are not buying motors and his clients are some pretty big manufacturers. Says they are doing nothing but repairs as needed, no expansion at all.
Anyone else seeing signs of a slowdown?

I posted that Nissan is only about 55% of capacity a week or so ago, due to lack of sales (not lack of parts or chips).Seeing signs of the economy slowing down. DC is always the last to knowMost large production companies either have gone into the “circle the wagon “ mode or will soon depending on how their metric triggers are set up . I know at Caterpillar the first thing to be stopped is any project that hasn’t been started in that cycle when they trip . That stops all outside vendors in their tracks . After that it’s just a planned series of layers that are cut as needed .
