I bet she made them stay at a Motel 6. She did let them eat a cracker barrel though cause they got that free charging from electricity generated by the coal plant down the road.Yeah, she passed every single gas station, but stopped at every single charger she could find, and it took her 4 times as long if she had driven with a gasoline powered car. Of course, she didn't drive, she took a plane and a couple of staffer kids had to drive the battery disaster.
Quick reminder to those who forget these facts. Not President nor Congress set gas prices, the private sector does. The last time oil was $120 per barrel gas prices were $3.96 per gallon. Also a fact, oil companies just reported record profits for the quarter. None of this is disputable. Now, I will watch, snickering, while everyone does a cute little dance around these facts. Why would they return cash to their owners if they thought they were gonna be destroyed? That’s the question?
Why do you hate people saving for retirement? Stop hating teachers. Also why are oil companies supposed to act different then any other company? They have one job. It's clearly not what you think it is. Maybe stop discouraging them from profits. Then they might plan long term.Quick reminder to those who forget these facts. Not a big deal yet. We drastically cut down eating out the past 2 months. So things are fine for us.
Problem as I said months ago….retail, restaurants, are about to get smoked. And eventually that wraps back around to all of us.
Do you believe that the government doesn't play a major role in gas prices?Quick reminder to those who forget these facts. Not President nor Congress set gas prices, the private sector does.
