National Championship Game Thread TCU VS UGA

As I remember head to head, they put up 27 points on us. You don’t have to think what Georgia could put up on us.

Exactly, and it was in Athens. We definitely give them a better game and at least have a chance to win it on a neutral field.

I turned the game off and went to bed right after uga scored a TD and it was already 35 to 7. Boring game.

Lol I said nothing of the kind but you live to have this argument with people so go off. I could have told you at 7:25 pm that TCU didn’t have the horses if Georgia played well. It’s just funny to me that you see this as an opportunity to beat the “do stars matter” dead horse.

Btw (and this will set you off but then you can do an eyeroll emoji and condescend to me like you do everyone else) “the recruiting services are always wrong” and “the recruiting services are always right” are both foolish statements, one not more so than the other. Which is why noone says or thinks either of those things but thank you for continuing to build strawmen.

I never have said the recruiting services are always right. Never. What I have said are these two things andI stand by them. One, the recruiting services get it right more than they get it wrong. And most importantly, the teams with the most 4 and 5* players win at the highest level.

I'm going to go ahead and debunk that argument right now. Texas A&M was loaded with them this year.

They were loaded with true FR 4-5* and they clearly have locker room issues. One thing Kirby has done as well as anyone, and it’s part of being a good coach, which he is, is manage the egos of a plethora of studs with only one football to go around. Everyone seems to stay engaged, they celebrate each other’s play and they stay hungry/never satisfied.

They did beat Michigan… the argument would have been better made had they lost to mich big.. they won a playoff… it’s kind of dumb to say they didn’t deserve it… like saying beating a At the time undefeated bama doesn’t mean anything

Disagree with beating Alabama ( and let's get real) TCU played exactly 1 team with real talent this year and we see how that went. No disrespect to Michigan but they are not in the conference championship game this year if they played in the SEC. TCU lost their conference championship game to a team that eventually would get worked by the 4th best team in the SEC this year. TCU 1000000% should not have been in the playoffs this year. With that said it's Tuesday and UGA still sucks!

Not unless our defense gets a lot better. If SC can put 63 pts on us, I don't want to think about what Georgia could have put on us if we played them tonight.
I still think that game was a fluke. I think the defense played pretty well most of the season aside from that game and against Bama, but that was Bryce Young. How in the hell did they let Spencer Freaking Rattler score more points?! Then they turned around and shut down the Clemson kid. Makes 0 sense to me. None.

On word answer, Banks. Locker room issues but Huepel got control.

Shannon Sharpe nailed it as usual. Comes down to talent level. Just reinforces the long standing notion that I and many other have stated. The team with the most blue chip players win the most.
