National title game thread.

Honestly all this worrying about recruits is overblown. Until our bag men step up their game like Bama and Clemson it won't matter. Both teams were schooling us before this game.

I actually say no pick on the last one. Originally thought so, but watch again. Defender immediately grabs "picker" sending him off balance . Not as blatant as originally thought.

Oh it was definitely a pick.

Of course they won't be a non-factor, it just makes them even stronger though

It makes them slightly stronger. As I said for the 3rd time, they've made 2 straight NC games and is already primed for a 3rd straight playoff spot. They're already more attractive than us and have been a while.

The sad thing is, he didn't just run the DB. He absolutely cut blocked him. It's a really bad no call.

Sure, but the result stays the same. It's nice to know that Bama fans everywhere will be sobbing. From 4 year olds to 94 year olds, they will all be weeping sweet tears of sadness all offseason! They've given me so much **** over the past 10 years, so I love this!

You think coming off a national championship makes a program only slightly more appealing?

Lol... Nice screenshot. What's the DB supposed to do? Let the guy run through his chest and then kiss him?

The wr isn't facing up though. He's facing where his "route" would go and rubbing which refs allow if you appear to be running a route. The defender squared up, grabbed and knocked him off balance. Imo...made it look worse than it was.

I mean seriously it's worth not winning the national title just to not have to wear those hats LOL

It all starts with the QB. Watson is an excellent dual-threat guy. It's no accident that we had our best office in MANY years with a dual-threat guy like Watson, after a long string of QBs who couldn't outrun an defensive lineman. The college game is ALL about the dual-threat QB. Look at how bama scored its last TD.

They're already more appealing than us; I'm not repeating myself again. Why would winning the NC blast them some astronomically high place than where they already were? Do you think kids are like "Damn they lost, I'm not going there now".
