Yep. Not that anybody can do it but if you're gonna play against this defense the goal has to be just get first downs

If Clemson can get untracked this will be s ball game. Hurts can't hit the broad side of a barn tonight and they're getting pressure on him.

Agreed. A perfect example of the difference in these two teams came early. Alabama rocked Watson, took the 15 yard penalty and didn't miss a beat. Clemson did the same to Hurts and Alabama scored. You can't give Alabama anything.

Yeah they were getting too cute there in the first quarter. These last two series, were better. Lineup and play and get yourself into a 3rd & 2 or 3rd &1, and move the chains.

Do that enough, and you'll have better opportunities down field, or to do the reverses etc.…

Disagree about Watson. I haven't seen a Clemson receiver without an Alabama jersey attached to it.

Agreed. Watson looks rattled. That shot earlier in the game I think got to him. At some point though, they have to give the defense a little help. Their defense has been solid. I almost think if you can contain him, out of Scarborough, Hurts, and the other RB, whose name escapes me at the moment(Jackson, maybe?) I'd rather have Hurts running and take my chances hitting him. His ball security is iffy IMO.

I think the only way to beat that defense is go after them. They're too quick to do reverses and things like that unless you have it set up just absolutely perfect.
