Ugly game so far. Pretty much going exactly as expected. DeShaun Watson is good but he's not good enough to beat the #1 defense in the land. Plus Hurts and the running game for Bama are clicking. Clemson in trouble for sure.

They're converting third and 10 or longer on run plays...why on earth would they throw the ball?

What I do love about Alabama is they remind everyone that the game is still "Old School".

They control the line of scrimmage. Period. End of Story.

All of the other stuff is great, but that's the whole deal.

Maybe next year we just give Alabama the NC, avoid the time sink of the playoff process, and hope Saban retires since he will have eclipsed Bear Bryant.

Oh I don't think it's easy… I just think you have to be patient. At least more patient than Clemson was going for it on fourth down or doing the reverses or the toss left toss right stuff.

Getting cute against this defense definitely doesn't work.

I'm not trying to coach from the couch but after seeing so many teams try and do it and fail somebody might think about trying something else

Yup I think if you're ever going to beat Alabama, you're going to have to have a truly bad ass offense offensive line.

And no one they've played has one, and I'm not sure there's anyone in college football that has one that can handle this defense.

I will say I liked going for it on 4th down earlier, you just can't run the type of play they did. Alabama is too disciplined.
