Tennessee won 2 SEC games in the 2011 and 2012 seasons.

Derek Dooley won 1 SEC game during the 2011 and 2012 seasons.

Please enlighten me. As I recall, his SEC record was as follows:

2010 - 3-5
2011 - 1-7
2012 - 0-7

Usually when I throw stats around with that confidence I check them before but that's just me..people have different styles...

Reality hurts most times in this situation.

Truth is that we ARE what our last seasons record proves we are unfortunately.

Our history, legacy and traditions are something quite different that what our on field playing has been the last 10 years.

Right now we're worse that a dumpster fire because dumpsters can be put out quickly.

We're more like a ragfing forrest fire with the winds blowing against us.

It takes real courage to walk into Tennessee and the SEC right now and accept the challenge that will take us several years to get turned back around in the right direction.

I believe that bUTch can do it but I see a rough 4 to 6 years before we'll be back in the SEC Championship game again.

I really hate having to face a slow, methodical total rebuilding process but it is what it is and we all need to support our coaches and team like never before and try to learn to be patient.
