I think it’s a toss up between Page and Ritzie (on the defensive side). Lose Middleton, Gooden, Solomon, Bumphus, Butler, Blakely. Yeah losing 5 DE. Still have Emerson, Garland, Simmons at NT going into 2021 (that are currently on the team)

Well maybe but it looks like this is terms of depth:
Middleton/Butler
Solomon/Bumphus
After those two you have only Mincy and Savion, then freshman. Not much reliable depth after Bumphus and Butler. Would make more sense to redshirt Freshman like Omari, Baron Bailey and Perry. Right?

Bumphus had 6TFLs and 2 sacks rotating in 11 games last year. And they didn't all come against Chatt, Vandy, and UAB. Still def gonna be a 2nd teamer, and would be great for 2021 depth if he only played four games and RS's 2020.

Due to its confidence in eventually landing him, UNC has all but fixated solely on four-star Jahvaree Ritzie (Kernersville (N.C.) Glenn) for this objective. That confidence has overflowed into the fanbase producing rumors stating "Ritzie had committed to UNC and planned to announce it publicly last week" and "Ritzie was very close to pledging to the Heels." But, very close sources on both sides of this recruitment say those rumors are premature. At least initially, Ritzie had intended to take his recruitment into the football season. Per the mentioned sources, he's easing off that stance slightly: he's now considering a summer decision. He may end up moving up his commitment even more than that, a source surmised, but nothing is imminent. On Sunday, he released a top five schools list consisting of Georgia, UNC, Ohio State, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

The longer it plays out the better chance we have obviously. We are second to UNC and with Dillsworth there and him knowing a lot of guys that have committed it’s hard to think UNC want land him. The covid situation has been great for UNC and Mack. Personally I think we would have gotten him if it weren’t for it. Now I don’t think we do. But listen guys, there are a lot of good players at his spot. I mean we just got Brooks, and are in on a ton more. For people to say he’s a must get to me is laughable. I’d love to get him but there are a lot of DE in the country. Even in the state of N.C. including Jabril McNeill is is every bit as good at Ritze and that we are in on and Price as well.

I think he will choose UNC now because of all that’s went on. If he was able to visit UT again and spend the time he would have been a Vol imo. Now I just think he follows Dillsworth and the UNC hype train. Their class is really good but no where close to No. 2 in the country. Maye is overrated, the gurus have him at No 1 and Silver at No 2 - both over Shipley and Pryor which is laughable. I mean Silver at No 2 geez. They’ve dropped Marley to 19 and he’s the top athlete in the class. Wright has higher upside than Shipley and Pryor. The rest of the UNC class are really good players but not elite by any means. I certainly wouldn’t trade UTs class for there’s. But there is something to the UNC homering this year, look at Edmonds. He’s good but it’s not a guarantee he will even be a rb.
