‘23 NC DL Daevin Hobbs (Tennessee commit)

We start with Daevin Hobbs as the North Carolina defensive lineman is fresh off his official visit to UGA. Georgia has moved past Alabama as we believe the Tide are out for Hobbs. The Bulldogs were third heading into that visit but now we believe they are nipping at Tennessee’s heals. Tennessee and Hobbs have continued to have good dialogue after the visit and we have heard nothing to suggest that Tennessee still isn’t at the top for him. He will announce his decision on November 25th.

How do we know the team hasn’t played it’s best game yet? How can we possibly play better than we did against Bama??

We played good against Ala, not great. 2 Turnovers, 1 was a scoop and score..Horrible secondary play with 4 starters or co-starters out. 3rd down play was flat out atrocious. We could have played much better. When we got up 18 we had a chance to bury them and didn't.

I like our chances still. Yeah we dropped a game to Ga bit our D only gave up 3 points in the second half. Offense had a bad day and didn’t help the defense . I still think we land this one.

GA could have scored 21+ more if they wanted, plus the rain helped us. They were throwing at will on our D and barely threw the ball in the 2nd half. Imma Huge Vol Fan but don't get it twisted, they went very conservative in the 2nd half because they didn't think we could score on them..which was correct on that day..Maybe a rematch at a neutral site and see what happens. NOBODY was beating GA that day. Plus it's not easy to beat a team twice in one season. I don't know if we can beat them with how horrid our Secondary is coached, but I believe we would score more than 3..Especially if we eliminate the pre snap penalties. Go Vols!

If they could have scored 21+ more they would have. Go look at their past games this season, uga has kept starters in pretty late in most of their blowouts. It's pretty crazy that the most noble kirby smart decided to show us mercy for some reason.

This is just so incorrect.

No, they played conservative so they could run the clock and not give UT the ball on offense.

Agreed. And so far they're the only team that has been able to do it. So they got that going for them.

I think if you add it all up, weather, ability to execute that game plan, UGAs defense able to go man to man... What UGA did just made sense.

I don't think it's a matter of 'what they could've done' as much as it is what UGA knew they could do cause they have the personnel.

It was just good football. Lol. Siap during the game... Mark stoops had to be so jealous.

I think he will go to Ga. just based on recent track record. If they want a player they get the player. If UT gets him I'll be happy !

I disagree. Ricky Gibson among others are examples of kids we’ve beat them for. They do get a lion’s share lately but we have beat them for some as well.
