'25 NC DL Isaiah Campbell (Tennessee)

I'm sure if you live in Carolina it's fantastic.

Just like if you live in Knox, having UTK is great.

If he truly wanted to go to medical school, and it were about that. He'd be in Nashville, at Vanderbilt. Yet, here we are. So, I call BS.
UNC is one of the top public schools in the country. It usually barely behind schools like UVA/Vandy/Michigan in terms of rankings but ahead of other good schools like Florida/Georgia Tech.

UNC is a good school

it's not really about a good school, yall. it never is
Unless they are giving him underwood (meechigan) money, no way in hell you go there. They had a really good recruiting class when mac got there (a lot of in-state kids) and most of them havent done anything or transferred. You wont be developed or drafted. Nil money dont compare to nfl/nba money.

are you pitching me?

Yea this one is about proximity. Only reason UNC is being discussed because they are an abomination right now. Already been said but Duke is the best school in that region for academics and athletics right now.

If hes that focused on proximity to home & academics, choose Duke
Depends where he wants to be after football. Duke network is going to be stronger in the northeast. I’d probably prefer UNC to Duke for a better overall college experience if having the best possible school prestige wasn’t my sole factor.

Like most normal humans, I'm sure you've never been to Duke. If you have, my apologies that you cannot get that period of your life back. For sure, you should never go if you haven't. It's an awful, dreary place littered with dorks and a few tall people that can dribble. Imagine a stadium slightly less exciting than FirstBank Vandy. I would not wish that on this young man. Nobody chooses it unless they have no other opportunity and quite frankly, mentioning the school has no place on this board.

Duke is one of the 3 most beautiful campuses I've ever seen. It puts UNC's campus to shame...and UNC has a nice campus.

Regarding medical school: no. He would be at Duke.

As I age and my heart disease progresses I've been hospitalized several times that last five years. Not one single time did I inquire the er doctor, cardiologist or hospital doctor what university their degree came from. It makes very little difference if you graduate from etsu or Duke if your good at what you do.

Lol this is a silly take, though understandable.

I have a graduate degree from UT-Knoxville, it’s a great degree. Valuable on the open market.

It’s not the same as a degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. It’s just not.

Stop it with the silliness, people.
