Love that gif!

Fulmer has told Pruitt how to really get it done
I see comments like this all the time; and while, yes, I love Fulmer, and I'm sure he offers advice from time to time...make no mistake, this is Pruitt's program, and he's known how to get it done for awhile now. The man has won, what, 4 National Championships.

Yeah but none of those were at Georgia

Just a jab at georgia not winning anything since 1980. Nothing negative to CJP
😂😂😂

You'll have to excuse me. I'm one of those who pretty much thinks Pruitt is infallible whenever it comes to the game of football and recruiting. Haven't felt this way about a coach...maybe ever...I wasn't alive to see The General. I bought into Pruitt whenever he was mentioned in Fulmer's top 3. Have believed from Day 1 he is the guy to get us to the SEC Championship and CFP.

Love the jab at UGA!

Every one has a mentor in every profession. CJP was a 1st time head coach, and every fanbase referred to him as a hot head. Plus he was very rough around the edges. If you don't see Phil's influence all over CJP then you aren't paying attention. Oh and if you don't think having Phil as a boss is paying off huge, look no further than having Peyton, Al, Jamal, Stallworth etc dropping in on position meetings. And Vol football account tweeting it out. Having Tee and Graham pulling in studs, it took Jay 3 months to do what no RB coach here could do since he left.

Didn't say I didn't see the influence, been paying attention since the 86 Sugar Bowl; just said this is Pruitt's program. He doesn't need Fulmer telling him how and where to recruit; the man was a Recruiter of the Year long before he and Fulmer became chums.

I love that Phil is our AD, been waiting for him to get the position for a decade; and, the greatest thing he has done since the 2001 beating of UF is hire Jeremy Pruitt.

Also, it wasn't Fulmer who hired Tee and Jay, it was Pruitt.

So when Pruitt touches down in Memphis or rural Carolina, you don't think Phil has already made those inroads a whole lot sweeter upon meet and greet?

Maybe...sure...idk.
Just not going to give the man Pruitt's credit. I agree with you, he's most definitely a great mentor for Pruitt, and a well of advice and guidance; but no more so than Saban was.

You don't think Pruitt recruited kids from Memphis and rural Carolina when he was at Bama? You don't think that most every HS coach in the south doesn't know who Jeremy Pruitt is? Before he came to Knoxville, the man was an integral part of 3 of the most prestigious programs in the south.

Look, I'm not saying that Phil isn't a humongous help, and a great mentor; just, as I said, not going to give him Pruitt's credit. Make no mistake, what has happened this week is ALL because of Jeremy Pruitt. Whenever kids talk about Jay Graham, that's Jeremy Pruitt. Whenever kids talk about Tee Martin, that's Jeremy Pruitt. Whenever kids talk about Derrick Ansley, that's Jeremy Pruitt. He is the guy that hired those guys, not Fulmer. If he didn't want them on his staff, they wouldn't be...even if Fulmer wanted them. You don't think Pruitt saw the advantages of having Tee and Jay on HIS staff, not just coaching and recruiting, but as alum and legends here?

Also, if YOU'RE paying attention, anytime a kid talks about UT, a commit or prospect, no matter who or what they're talking about, they always come back to Pruitt, and what he means to them. Everytime.

Phil hired Pruitt to restore our program, and I love him for it; and, it is in Pruitt's vision, and no one else's, that it is being built.
