As we continue to be on a path to our best 3-year stretch in the last 25 years and the cusp of elite, of course a portion of VN wants some on the staff responsible for this awesome run to be fired. Not even surprising tbh.

Ok. So what I get here is CGE sucks, and when the o line is good, it's because of something else.

Look I'm not gonna tell you that I think this o line is great. It hasn't been. But it's just not been as bad as many think. They really are good in the run game.

Where this group struggles is with penalties and pass pro. That's in part because we need some upgraded talent, and part better coaching. Play calling could help them out too.

Long story short, it's just not as simple as "Ellarbee sucks", imo.

Well tbh it’s not cut or dry as stats prove he sucks or not. You have to watch the body of work with the linemen. Running game numbers are not just on linemen, but scheme truly makes the biggest difference. Unless you run a power offense, which we don’t. We run a numbers offense (obviously) so we will always have good running numbers. Now look at the linemen’s positioning, hands, hands, communication, pick up blitzes on passing is when you learn how good a units coach is. What he teaches is not good fundamentally or technically

with 2 5th yr seniors and transfers from the portal... show me the Oline starters who he recruited and developed... we have younger talent but it's not being developed... some of these kids should be much farther along by now.

Well like I said..I think there's issues in the pass protection for sure. In the run game, less issues, but you just can't explain away the success in the run game by saying it's due to other things, only... That's all.
