I don't think anyone is knocking him. Pointing out he could use a couple of years in the weight room and good work with D1 level coaches isn't really a knock. I personally think he could be a starter in a couple of years. Definitely if he can make progress, he has the size and frame to make his presence felt.

Now, in a perfect world, where we had mature talent and depth, I would see him as a backup his RS Junior year and starter his RS Senior year. But if you consider I am referring to the height of our program where we were putting multiple linemen in the pros ever year, that's more of a compliment than a knock.

His feet seem to be pretty good. He is actually turning and driving guy perpendicular to the line of scrimmage. It’s apparent that is upper body needs work Bc he’s blocking with his chest.

But seriously, id hire their OC as they really understand sealing defenders to the inside. Look how they line up wide enticing the defender to take inside and then they block hard to the middle opening up outside running lanes. Momentum blocking. I love it. Block towards their momentum.

You are correct, on run blocking to seal the end, he takes good angles and is able to remove threats.

On pass blocking, or moving to the third level, he needs work. He will get beat on the edge by fast pass rushers in the SEC as a freshman.

I think we got Bailey's dad now. But some people might have ran him off once Justin Rodgers didn't commit at the O&W game which is dumb.
