Jabari had 5.7 ypc in SEC (while dinged up most of the year); CBS had 4.6 in ACC. Again CBS may be better than our current 2nd string, but I don’t see him as a big upgrade. JMO.

Agreed. Our run game should be efficient next year, nothing spectacular but not a liability. I’m sure either of these guys could come in and have a decent season splitting carries, but I don’t think they would be a significant improvement over anything we currently have.

Would much rather add a DB or LB since that’s an area we need immediate improvement.

I have followed CBS since he got to Wake. He reminds me a lot of Tiyon Evans in terms of size and running style. He reminds me nothing of Tiyon Evans in terms of intelligence, leadership, and being a good teammate.

You're right, they are built nothing alike




I think it's perfect fair to question the level of competition of CBS - or whether he is a product of the unique Wake system with the delayed mesh - but in terms of running style and build he is very similar to Tiyon.

Tiyon Evans was a way better back than CBS and if Small was healthy Tiyon never started.
