I was talking about Crouch, OD posted last night that he heard Crouch was on campus and someone basically said pics or it didn't happen. Then about an hour later there was a pic.

Yea, I heard this last night, and I posted this. I also had Owen, that was a rumor, but I don’t know about this one yet. Some claimed that they saw him as well. I’m going to back off from Pappoe until otherwise.

I am talking about Crouch. I disagree with OD all the time, I think he is INSANELY optimistic at times, but he is a nice guy. I was just trying to give him credit where it was due on him saying Crouch was on campus last night before the IG pic dropped. This is the Crouch thread so I didn't deduce that some of you guys might be talking about Pappoe. Pappoe gone.

Just like in the Haselwood thread. When I posted that there was rumors about the excitement of him coming, or is interested in Tennessee. That has came to fruition. As for Pappoe, there was a rumor for him here, and a pict somewhere. I got the phone call this morning, but I’m going to see if there is anymore things that will pop up on this. I’m backing off like I need to. I’m not going to mislead anyone. I don’t do that. I’m not an insider. If I hear something from campus, I will throw it out there, but if it comes to back off, then I will.

We played half those teams w/o Smith. DTs may hurt a bit but some returnees will have experience and actual S&C program.

And we got blown out by everybody without him...won’t have him again, so no difference. Only returning DL that showed anything this past year was Gooden. I expect him to be good and the guy that anchors the interior of our defense....nobody else currently on the roster has shown he can play DT at a competitive SEC level. Same goes for DE, not much promise there outside of a wildly inconsistent Taylor and perhaps Deandre Johnson. S&C program is gonna help only so much....can’t make a marginally average player, of which we have plenty, into the top notch SEC caliber players we need. Gonna take a couple of great, not good, recruiting classes to do that imo. Next year is gonna be another rough one to say the least.
