Just to clarify will crouch sign Wednesday and not announce until Jan. 5th or will he wait to sign when he announces?

Crouch isn't expected to sign during the early signing period, which begins Wednesday, but he's planning to announce his decision Jan. 5 at the All-American Bowl in San Antonio and enroll at the college of his choice next month.

I have since early this summer gotten a different vibe from Crouch. His early interviews about how much he enjoyed Tennessee, the drive through the mountains, the coaching staff, and how much he lets his faith guide his decisions.

If this was your typical prima-donna blue chip kid who loved the process, then I'd be worried about Clemson. But he was all Vol in his heart early. Then we had a piss poor season and I think he went with what was perceived as the logical choice with Clemson. I think this revisit with the staff this week reminded him how much his heart was in Tennessee.

Call me naïve. Call me blissfully unaware. I think this guy along with Darnell are full fledged Vols in the same thread as Wanya.
