'19 NC RB Quavaris Crouch (Tennessee signee)

If a kid were to enroll now, he could count against the current academic year (18-19) if there were spots available or he could count against the next academic year (19-20).

13.9.2.3.1 Application. [FBS] A prospective student-athlete who signs a National Letter of Intent or an institutional offer of financial aid or a student-athlete who signs a financial aid agreement that specifies financial aid will be initially provided in the fall term of an academic year shall count toward the annual limit on signings for that academic year. A prospective student-athlete who signs a National Letter of Intent or an institutional offer of financial aid or a student-athlete who signs a financial aid agreement that specifies financial aid will be initially provided during the second or third term of the academic year may count toward the limit for that academic year or the limit for the next academic year. (Adopted: 1/14/12 effective 8/1/12, Revised: 4/26/17 effective 8/1/17 for signings that occur on or after 8/1/17)
So whats our number?

Someone said he signed financial aid agreements with all three schools. Only binds the school. The people doing the twittering didn't know the difference and posted them as loi signees. Don't know if true.

So whats our number?
I think most folks had UT with 22 spots for '19 after forward counting 3 from last year. Sounds like there are two '18 spots coming back (Antonutti and Brooks) that maybe could be used for 2 of the 3? That would leave UT with 24 counters for '19 plus however many come in after the first term who could be counted forward to '20.

Someone check this out if you have access, but supposedly Michigan 247 is reporting that Crouch will sign tomorrow and, get this, Clemson is out, and he will choose between the Vols and Michigan. If that is the case, its Vols all the way. Anyone have VIP access?

247Sports has learned that Charlotte (NC) Harding University Top100 athlete Quavaris Crouch is currently expected to sign with the program of his choice on Friday.

A few things.....

1. Crouch has not informed any schools of what his decision is going to be.

2. One excellent source informed me on Thursday night that it's going to be either Tennessee or Michigan. Clemson appears to be out.

3. Crouch will not publicly announce until January 5th, holding to his plan all along.

4. Crouch is expected to enroll early at whatever school he signs with.

If I hear any more on this front, an update will quickly follow.

A couple more things....

1. Leaning UT still obviously based on the info gathered over the last few days.

2. Michigan still thinks there's a chance he can sign with them.

We'll see. I would keep expectations in check here but it appears the Wolverines believe they could still be the choice..

So Michigan has signed 25 and have 2 more commits. They only had 20 enroll last year. Can someone do the Bama math and let me know how many they can sign this year?

if he signs tomorrow, there is no way he nor anyone else will be able to keep this a secret til January 5th. i believe the school that doesn’t get him will most certainly let it be known
