Someone needs to Torrance Gibson this situation.

Torrance Gibson is the biggest bust in college football history. He was my nephew Brandon Johnson teammate in high school. That team was loaded!! Sony Michel, Torrance, Isiah Mckenzie, Brian Burns, Tavarus Mcfadden, Patrick Surtain Jr, Tyson Campbell, and etc. The list goes on and on..The best High School football program by far in the country..

Brandon Johnson is one of my favorite current Vols. Underrated guy. Think he’ll do really well for us and hope he makes it to the league.

I need to get a handle on our WR corps. There are so many and I don't know the pecking order or who does what the best.

Callaway "splash plays"
Johnson "by far best route runner and will get the yards"
Palmer "best tools but can't use them well"

Your timeline is off. Surtain and Campbell arrived the yr after Michel/Joystick. Burns and Marco Wilson also arrived after leaving University School the same yr.

AH is completely loaded yearly but STA and University have more talent this season.

You took the words out of my mouth. AH is very talented every year but STA and Mia Central and Mia Columbus is just as talented this year or year in and year out and don't forget about Southridge and IMG too. IMG whole roster is D-1.

On another note, is AH in Broward the same hs as AH in Delray Beach? That's kind of confusing.

Jennings is the man on 3rd down & big plays because he ain't scared and has outstanding focus.

Callaway is arguably the most well-rounded receiver right now, but his hands are questionable.

I lean more toward Brandon Johnson being our most dependable guy, but he's not a burner. Good route runner and catches the ball when has a chance.

Josh Palmer and Tyler Byrd are tough, but I haven't seen much explosiveness from either of them. Solid options but probably not NFL players.

Murphy is the guy who has the most potential, IMO. Great route runner, elusive, and good hands.

Latrell Williams and Jones are supposed to be decent slot options but I haven't seen anything from either of them that gets me excited.

Basically... we've got a lot of good options but don't have that All-SEC type guy unless it's Murphy.

How do you know Jordan Murphy is a “great” route runner? He had one catch for 12 yards.

Ole Miss guy I know had a huge man crush on Murphy for a couple of years til he signed with us. He wasn't very happy about that.

I know one of Murphy’s cousins and he showed me a few practice clips Murphy sent him and he is a pretty good route runner from what I seen. Obviously it was just practice and still a small sample size but still

Palmer is pretty explosive IMO. He can get behind the defense. There were several times he had his man beaten deep downfield but couldn't make the play. His problem last year was catching the ball and adjusting to the ball.

i look at our WR's alot like i've been looking at our CB's the past few years. there's names you recognize, raw talent...not a ton of production.

excited to see what CDJ can do with this group. i do think there's some real potential.

of course, the QB situation last year wasn't great, and it's hard to be efficient in the passing game when your QB is either bailing on the play and using his God given talent (Dobbs' legs) or flat on his back (JG).

really hope CJP wasn't blowing smoke about the O Line improvements..........
