^ This. Errybody got lost in the highlights of him trampling over skinny high school kids and the occasional 3rd down carry we gave him. Trent Richardson dominated in college but fizzled at the next level…and was that much faster than Crouch. He has 0 future at RB at the next level. At least at LB there was a chance.
Trent Richardson couldn’t read the holes…. At Alabama….. the whole line was a hole…. Someone put together a video of Trent and it showed him missing the hole over and over again….. running directly into the back of his lineman…. It was pretty hilarious.^ This. Things changed considerably in the linebacker room this offseason, as MSU acquired experienced transfers Jacoby Windmon (UNLV) and Aaron Brule(Mississippi State) at the start of the spring semester, and shifted former defensive back Darius Snow to the position at the onset of spring practice. The added competition would’ve made it an uphill climb for Crouch
75 tackles, 3 pass deflections, 1 forced fumble and fumble recovery
Doesn't seem to shabby to me. Especially considering he missed a few games from injury as well.
Anyone who says they wouldn't welcome him or Gray back w/open arms is lyyyyyyying.
Crouch played well the couple of the games I watched Mich St.While I was joking mostly about him coming back, it would make sense. He's still very tight with Jeremy Banks, we just had a linebacker leave in Aaron Willis. I think there might be a rule that you don't have to sit out of you transfer back to your original school. He was actually one of Michigan state's more impressive players when I watched them play last year. I'd certainly take him back.
