'19 NC RB Quavaris Crouch (Tennessee signee)

Each coaching search was like a drunken bender. We’ve all said things we regret. 😂

100%

I just find the "I'D NEVER....!!!!" sanctimony a bit funny is all. How many of us said F Cade Mays at one point too after a certain video too? Only to cheer when he transferred in and again when he came back another year.

I'll be honest, I'd take Gray and Crouch back in a heartbeat. And so would everyone else here if they're being honest.

Crouch and Gray are both meh

Crouch would get a look to see if there’s any interest. He and Banks are friends IIRC and that could put Tennessee in good position.

I don’t know what it is about Gray that folks drool over. Especially those that compare him to Kamara. Before you ask yes they have it’s on VN and there’s pages of it. That said if you can’t rack up yards in LR offense you won’t be any better here.

Count me as a pass. He struggled in a league not known for defense and was benched at one point.

What are people going to say next? We want Morris back?

I think Crouch would be a good addition. Gray there’s just no way. Kid was asked to leave bc there was so much smoke around him and the ncaa investigation. He’s a decent back, just don’t see the juice being worth the squeeze there. Has zero to do with personal feelings, I’ll gladly welcome most back if they improve this team unless there’s just some huge criminal issue or something to that effect.

Didn’t cry when any of them left and not planning to conjure any tears at a possible homecoming. All highly replaceable save Key Lawrence.

I don’t see the correlation. Not a Kiffin fan by any stretch, but he left us for his dream job at USC. He was building us up (at least recruiting wise) so how was that a sinking ship? And PJ Fleck? Just odd.
He sunk the ship lol.

I think there are 2 thought process you can have.
1. If you can help the team now, then we can forgive past transgressions.
2. If you hurt us you are never forgiven.

I fall under 1 because we have been bad for so long.

He left in the middle of the night in half a shirt only to be fire for alleged recruiting violations. Had he chosen to stay put Tennessee would be even deeper in the hole he started to dig.

Going for the throat I see. How long have you been saving these.

Exactly 0.0 seconds. Search box, upper right corner. Literally like 5 seconds.

And it's nothing personal against the dude, I just find the sanctimony a bit funny and it amuses me to see how consistently the "F That Kid for transferring" Bro consistently overlaps w/the wanting to polish Kiffin's nob Bro. Same dudes who tweet at recruits about how much love and loyalty they'll get from fans like themselves.

He should've just laughed it off and taken the quick L w/an OK, you got me and moved on. But he wanted to double-down, so......

Transfer linebacker from Tennessee has played in 33 career games (23 for the Volunteers from 2019-20, 10 for the Spartans in 2021), including 20 starts at linebacker (11 at Tennessee, nine at MSU) . . . has 160 career tackles for career (equally split at 80 solo, 80 assists), after posting 85 tackles at Tennessee, including three tackles for loss (10 yards), three pass break-ups and two forced fumbles, and has 75 tackles with 2.0 sacks, three pass break-ups, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and three QB hurries at MSU . . . has four career games with double-digit tackles (two games at Tennessee with 11 each, two games at MSU with 13 each).

Via Spartan Athletics.

Would be a solid addition IMO.
