Bump for updates and insider info

I am fairly certain if there were updates or insider info, they would bump the thread. I don't think you bumping it is gonna remind them. "Oh I have that inside info on Crouch I forgot to post until somebody bumped his thread." :eek:lol:

Just keeping it near the top man. Even comments like yours keep the feed fresh and gets the blood pumping.

I’ve been saying he was ours to lose for a while. A midweek visit usually means one of two things.

1) “Hey coach I’m going on these visits but it’s just to travel and get free stuff. I’m all Vol.”

2) “Hey coach I’m here because I respect you and I wanted to let you know in person I won’t be signing here.”

Not saying load the cannons...

What's the difference between a weekday and weekend to a kid on summer break?

Nothing imo

The bigger deal to me is how many times this makes him visiting here. Along with he was supposed to be here last wknd. It didn't work out but he obviously is serious enough about TN to reschedule fast. If he was meh about us then he would have pushed it further

That is awesome that he is coming here regularly. Comfort level is growing by the visit.

Just gives you a different look at college life for a D1 athlete. No classes on weekends. You get to see more of the typical day instead of an orange carpet type atmosphere.

This..........

most counselors recommend that you visit colleges during the week instead of the weekend. You cant get the true campus vibe during the weekend like you can when classes are going on

I guess it would. When I was at UT a weekday was filled with 'oh crap, I'm late. Where the heck am I going to park. Let me just slam my car anywhere I can. Trying not to spill my coffee all over myself as I jogged to class.' Hope no recruits saw that.

UT is hosting summer camps and the first 7-on-7 tournament today. A lot of players and recruits are around. Maybe Crouch wanted to be part of that.

“Tennessee has always been pretty good,” he said at the time. “They’ve fallen down a little bit, but they need players — big, impact players — to commit to their school so they can bring in more players so they can get ready to rumble again.

“I like Pruitt a lot. I like all the staff. I talk to all the staff now. They just got a new running back coach. I think his name’s (Chris) Weinke or something like that. You can’t forget that name. I’ve got my boy (Brian) Niedermeyer,” Crouch added, referring to the Vols’ first-year tight ends coach. “He came from Alabama, too. I know most of them because they were already at Alabama, and I went down there a couple times.”-247

He wants to see how the coaches coach up and interact with players. See what can be expected. It's different than talking on the phone or through text and seeing how the staff puts in work.

That was from April.
