'19 NC RB Quavaris Crouch (Tennessee signee)

Is Nieds our new Rodney Gardner? I hope he coaches better than Rodney, but the man can recruit. RG leaving was a big contributor to Fulmers decline.

“Tennessee has always been pretty good,” he said at the time. “They’ve fallen down a little bit, but they need players — big, impact players — to commit to their school so they can bring in more players so they can get ready to rumble again.

“I like Pruitt a lot. I like all the staff. I talk to all the staff now. They just got a new running back coach. I think his name’s (Chris) Weinke or something like that. You can’t forget that name. I’ve got my boy (Brian) Niedermeyer,” Crouch added, referring to the Vols’ first-year tight ends coach. “He came from Alabama, too. I know most of them because they were already at Alabama, and I went down there a couple times.”-247

I know the comments are from April but they still add value in terms of his thought process. He sounds open to the option of committing early to help drive recruiting class. Vq has mentioned he could do something this summer too.

Totally agree, we need to protect Neidermeyer the same way Bama protects Tosh Lupoi. Pay the young man, he's certainly earned it so far.

Pruitt will have it covered with Fulmer well beforehand. Only reason he started out this low is he was an unknown. Fulmer ain’t letting the next Rodney Garner escape.
