'19 NC RB Quavaris Crouch (Tennessee signee)

Another good sign? Quavaris Crouch, 2019's No. 1 ATH, spotted working out in Vols gear

Last month, the nation’s No. 1 2019 athlete, Quavaris Crouch, was spotted working out in Tennessee shorts.
Though Crouch is still considering a number of big-name programs, that was certainly a positive sign for new Tennessee coach Jeremy Pruitt.
The good news continued on Wednesday, as Crouch was once again spotted in Tennessee shorts while doing a grueling hills workout

Oh yeah I'm really starting to like our chances.

I wouldn't mind seeing this guy at tail back. This guy would be a hoss from hell out there carrying the rock. Especially late in the ball game.

He tweeted himself with a ton of Vol gear on like an hour before his commitment. He was trying to throw a curveball but it was obvious. As soon as I saw the tweet I knew he would go elsewhere.

He tweeted all throughout the day with himself dressed in gear from all his finalists, if I remember correctly.

I don’t think there are any true studs at QB in this class

Never know, can never tell how a kid is gonna respond and develop once he gets on campus and into the program. Conversely, there are supposed “studs” every year that never pan out....Hunter Johnson comes to mind.

Seems like a solid add at qb. Guess if we have another higher opportunity they'll look to add another, but this checks a good box for us, because getting QB's on board seem to take more time. Now they can concentrate on lock down corners, stud linemen, and top flight receiver and rb's...high level skill guys we're going to need to bring down our primary rivals.

Hope there is something to this.

Five-Star Quavaris Crouch Works Out in Vols Gear | Rocky Top Insider

Jeremy Pruitt and his coaching staff are doing all they can to bring some of the top recruits in the 2019 class to Tennessee. They already have a commitment from five-star offensive tackle Wanya Morris and commitments from five other players who are rated as four-stars by the 247Sports Composite rankings. And the Vols’ staff are in a great spot with one of the top prospects in this cycle, and he keeps showing off his UT gear.

Quavaris Crouch is a five-star athlete and is rated as the No. 1 athlete in the 2019 class according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s shown a lot of interest in Tennessee since Jeremy Pruitt took over as head coach, visiting three times in 2018 alone. And now he’s caused more waves among Vol nation with a recent post to his Twitter account.

Crouch tweeted out a video of himself running up and down a steep hill on Wednesday afternoon. But what will stand out the most about his video is his shorts, which are Smokey Grey and have orange stripes down the side with the Power T at the bottom.

So what? Cam Akers did pretty much the same thing.

I dont think this is a sign he is headed our way, the man is wearing a free pair of shorts during his mud runs. It could be he likes rocking them because they are new and free. It also could be that he knew he was going to get these shorts dirty potentially doing mud runs and he doesnt care about the UT shorts. I think we have a legitimate shot at him but I think its a reach to read into what a high schooler wears during conditioning workouts and make judgments about his college choice. Feels a bit like watching MNF to see the color of Gruden’s tie.
