'19 NC RB Quavaris Crouch (Tennessee signee)

Roll the dice. Go after him harder than ever and lock him up now.

Yeah, no, it doesn't work that way. This is gonna come down to whether or not he is physically able to play football and not just 'work out'. We'll know more around signing day.

I think there's a big difference in a potential hip injury if you are playing RB and LB... could factor into teams/us continuing to recruit and what he is willing to play in college... start him off at LB when he gets to UT, then maybe after yr 2, if the injury bug is gone, we also now have a player who can play both ways if needed. Win Win.

Wasn't it just a few weeks ago that pix were being posted of QC's intense workouts? Despite indications he was training extensively during the summer, we're now seeing posts that indicate he has a lingering injury from last year, other schools are adopting a wait & see approach with his recruiting, etc., yet no one's real sure of what last week's injury was.

I think we're getting ahead of ourselves with rumors. Way ahead.

Like with Bogle and a couple of other guys who are now committed somewhere else
not that it's really any different, but with bogle's recruitment, there was and has alwasy been a nagging sense that getting him out of s fl was going to be the trick. it was no secret he was high on TN. it was also no secret that mama and sis want him to stay close to home. so while many of us felt good about that, it usually came with a "but" at the end....

so while crouch is probably still in play for several schools, there's been no tangible "thing" blocking the good vibes we keep hearing about his feelings on TN and where we stand for him.

so it's not different...but it is...kinda..

From a Clemson SB Nation article:

"As far as elite prospects go, Quavaris Crouch is still the top guy. Fall officials will decide this recruitment, and while Crouch has stated he will decide during the season I will believe it when I see it. Crouch like many his age is impressionable, and could be heavily influenced by what takes place this season. No coach has a closer relationship with the 5-star ATH than Brian Neidermeyer of Tennessee. Formerly of Alabama, once Neidermeyer left for Rocky Top Crouch no longer even communicated with the Bama staff if it is any indication of how close the two are. Because of this relationship, Tennessee is probably leading, but due to Crouch’s motivation to play for a winning program this one likely has a few more twists and turns left before it is over. "

I am wondering what Clemson is thinking after being able to cherry pick a few of the top players out of TN the last couple of seasons to actually losing a head to head cruitin’ battle or two under Pruitt.

Yeah, I could see coaches use this exact scenario against us.

Was going to say, Crouch is out due to an ankle injury. And I think these injuries solidify him as an OLB and Beasley as a rb
Yeah, yeah. All logic points to Beasley as a RB, but I still want to see him knocking RBs and WRs heads off at Safety
