'19 NC RB Quavaris Crouch (Tennessee signee)

Never was

Disagree, I strongly feel if NSD was in September he would have been a Vol. The mom won out over the mentor. Give me plenty of BBQ sauce with my crow. I stepped out on a ledge but like you said I shouldn't be surprised that Dabo got to him, I think I even posted he'd be a Vol IF Dabo didn't get to him but I'm still man enough to be held to my word. I guess I just don't read recruits well.

Felt he was going to Clemson for awhile, and then changed my mind after reading that article with his former coach, after his visit; should've stuck with my original feeling. Wish him the best. However, if Trezman Marshall is the backup plan, I'm more than cool with that.

It doesn’t. A bit ago we lead, but in that time Clemson came on strong. We needed to win the last few games and show improvement. The Kentucky game impressed him, but this Mizzou game probably scared him away.
If all it took was the Mizzou game to scare him off, just what other thing will make him go all Kelly Bryant? First chink in the armor I’ve seen in this kid.

I don’t see how the Missouri would scare him away if he really had any interest in Tennessee. The INT before the half changed the game.Could of been 19-17 then who knows how the game plays out. Pre season I heard the college sport people saying if Pruitt made a bowl his 1st year that would be a great accomplishment. We are one game away.

The Mizzou game didn't scare him off...he was never coming to TN. As I have been saying for months he is going to Clemson.

Clemson has three underclassmen running backs and a junior that is sure to return. I guess they talked him into playing linebacker.

I didn't count all the times he stated he wanted "what's best for me." Football is a team sport and no matter how good a particular individual is, it is still about team. The Vols don't need people that only think about themselves. I would rather have a less talented guy that will not quit; refuses to be defeated and works his butt off, than someone who thinks the world revolves around them.

I think you are reading way too much into that. Every kid deciding on a college is making the decision for himself and recruits say that all the time. QC would have been a big get but him going to Clemson was expected.

The kid don't want to have to work for something much bigger than himself. Dont need players like.

The “kid” made a decision that will effect the rest of his life. Try to be as mature as QC has been through this entire process and understand that without getting mad that he didn’t pick UT. Nothing but respect for QC. Wish he chose us, but I wish him nothing but the best.

Don't get mad at me and refer to me as immature when I'm calling this situation exactly what it is.

Handled it exactly the way you should.

He ain't coming here. He wants to plug in not be a part of building something.

Just read the comments. That's an interesting take. Sure, winning is an important factor, but most people want to be coached, advised, assisted, etc. by people they like being around and are comfortable with. He makes it sound like he loves Pruitt but wants to go win and just plug in with other winners. To each their own, but it doesn't always work out that way.
