Ncaa: Bryce Brown

bryce brown is a high profile recruit and the AA hates lane kiffin. Of course they're going to question him. It doesn't make BB a douche or even indicate that anything is wrong. They're just hoping something is... He's not "ratting us out" or anything... There's nothing to indicate he was rucuited illegally other than well, the fact that he's a high profile recruit and lane kiffin and ed were involved...

Don't be naive. Where there is this much smoke, there is a good chance there is a raging inferno underneath it all. We all had our concerns about the Toxic Twins and now our worst fears might be realized. And all of it for one 7-6 season I might add.

So, to all of the Kiffin Sheep out there, I have one question: "Was it worth it?"

I actually agree.

Bryce is the epitome of the Kiffin tenure - all marketing, no substance.

However, this might have ramifications for Tennessee Football. Worthy of discussion.

Agreed that this is worthy of discussion, no doubt. I'm speaking in general. Just very sick of seeing/hearing/reading about these guys, wish we could just move along. That's all I was trying to say.

The "Kiffin sheep" will just respond that the NCAA is a crock of an organization.

from past examples the school is the one punished

I thought that was exclusively the case too, but it appears that with the USC program and Bush, one of the former assistants was banned from contacting recruits. Not sure for how long, but the assistant was fired by USC (obviously). He has a lawsuit against the NCAA now.

Since its essentially a death penalty for the coach to not be able to contact recruits, I'm sure this case will go through a lot of appeals in court system. Hopefully, the coach will lose.

I can answer that, NO!! But I'm sure somebody will make up a bunch of great things Kiffin did for us. Then devolve the argument into a Kiffin was better than Fulmer thread.

Anxiously awaiting announcement of time of BB presser*

I read the article and it sounded like no big deal. I got more important stuff to worry about as a Vol fan.

2 hours is a long time. If nothing negative was said, it would only take 20 minutes.

Those of you who've been hoping for a new AD are about to get your wish.

Or they were being very thorough in their questioning.

When UT was looking for a Fulmer replacement, I was 100% in favor of the new coach having NFL experience tied to his name. What I didnt expect was for the Vols to hire someone with a diaper on his buttocks. Cleaning this diaper will be ugly and smelly. BB is just one of the many remnants found in the diaper.

Knowing the NCAA I am surprised it didn't take all day.

There is a lot of guessing and given the track record of posters on here, reading their guesses is useless. I am just going to take it at face vaule and worry about it if something comes of it. I am only worried about the team that we have taking the field.

They want info on Kiffin and Orgeron. Kiffin's whole bit about playing in the pros or gateway to the pros get's under the NCAA's skin. I really think they want him as an example for something.

I'm sure they do. Problem is, if they find stuff on them while they were at UT, it's the school that is screwed. This will keep the NCAA on their trail at USC, but the damage done while here could be very costly to Tennessee.

To further expound on your analogy.....
His $hitty diaper is leaking all over VolNation

Honestly, IMHO if the NCAA was smart they would lay low for a couple of years and then start looking into USC's recruiting.

The end result - The Death Penalty for USC.

I actually think it will happen unless Pat Haden is smart enough to fire them now.

I hope they give his lazy butt professional status or something then he can go play the Canadian league at best....however, I have said all along I thought NCAA stuff might have been what was keeping him off the football team....so maybe him not practicing once Dooley got here was a very good thing...:hi:

I would have loved to have been a fly-on-the-wall during the meeting Haden had with Kiffin when he became AD.

This is what happens to a 17 year old kid who gets a "professional adviser". You can bet he is still dancing to the leech's tune.
